Editorial policy
Modern Fashion Review aims to make fashion subjects clear, specific and fair. We separate description from opinion, check factual statements and make the limits of an explanation visible.
Accuracy and clarity
We take care with names, dates, definitions and descriptions of garments or materials. Where a point is uncertain or disputed, we say so rather than smoothing away the uncertainty. Articles are written to explain their subject, not to imply that one style, body or budget is the standard.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are not for sale. Any paid, gifted or partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee praise, and we do not present promotional copy as an impartial review.
Corrections
If a material error is identified, we review the relevant passage and correct it when warranted. Readers can use the Contact page to point us to the article and the specific detail; meaningful corrections are made clear in the article.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where this applies, the image is labelled. Illustrations are used to clarify or evoke a subject, not as evidence that a particular garment, person or event exists.
